I went to Nam in July of 1968 with a Brigade of 5th Infantry Division. I only ended up spending 93 days in Nam. At the time I thought it was plenty. We were shipped up north on the DMZ. Some of our units took over Con Tene from a landing Brigade of Marines. I spent most of my time at Dong Ha or Quang Tri. and we were attached to the 3rd Marine Division. I spent all of my 2 years in the Fifth Division. I found My platoon sargent 2 years ago, I hadn't talked to him since 1968 in Nam. I will see what else I have and take the time to think about it.
