Wenige Tage nach Ende der Internetversteigerung des folgenden Vietnam Zippos meldete sich eine Verwandte des ursprünglichen Besitzers per Mail.

Hi.

Just thought you might like to know a little about the zippo you bought:  It belonged to Howard Dugue Livaudais (1920-1995), and the Vietnamese inscription on it is the name of his fourth wife, Tra, whom he met while in Vietnam.  Howard was also a Bataan Death March survivor.
